In May of 2007, day workers standing on Santa Barbara's Yanonoli Street against "The Wall" were approached and asked to pose for a portrait. This resulted in the Santa Barbara Project, an Artist-in-Rsidence at the Atkinson Gallery, Santa Barbara City College This unframed portrait of a construction worker, Augustin, details a gray collared shirt. The background is white with notes of yellow on the left and blue on the right. On reverse, signature of the portrait's subject and that of the artist as well as date.
