Art & Language was founded in Coventry, England, by Michael Baldwin, David Bainbridge, Terry Atkinson and Harold Hurrell in 1968. The critic and art historian Charles Harrison and the artist Mel Ramsden both became associated with the group in 1970 and thru 1982, multiple people engaged in activites related to the name Art & Language. This blue map illustrates the earth's land masses configured into multi-sized blocks outlined in black.
