The Women Beyond Borders Art Collection includes over 900 self styled wooden boxes reflecting on a specific woman's self-identity using a variety of multi-media processes. The artist has replicated an altar like structure by painting her box in gold which opens onto a gold heart positioned against a red ground. Attached at top is a candle like fixture.
