Gem album with tintypes
3 5/8 x 3 1/4 x 1" CASE
This gem book contains 96 tintype photographs, each oval shaped and surrounded by circular designs. Four tintypes (image on tin) fit on each page, and include images of two individuals posed together. Gem photographs were popular means to capture a miniature portrait of a loved one- each gem is roughly 1 ΒΌ inch high and 1 inch wide.
