The Women Beyond Borders Art Collection includes over 900 self styled wooden boxes reflecting on a specific woman's self-identity using a variety of multi-media processes. Brown has embellished her box by adding gold trim and various colored beads to the exterior; the interior opens into thirds with the Virgin Mary on the left, and Queen Elizabeth (the first) on the right known as the Virgin Queen as she never married. The interior is outfitted to resemble a confessional.
