The Women Beyond Borders Art Collection includes over 900 self styled wooden boxes reflecting on a specific woman's self-identity using a variety of multi-media processes. Benitez has embellished her box with a purple velveteen with lace edging a flower embroidered with a hanging glass-like tear shaped amulet attached to the lid's interior.
