The Women Beyond Borders Art Collection includes over 900 self styled wooden boxes reflecting on a specific woman's self-identity using a variety of multi-media processes. The artist used paint, photographs, fabric, plastic dolls, and metal ornaments to create their piece. This piece is a marker for an experience or event the artists has lived thorugh, holding meaning as a ritual of celebration.
