Juxtaposing athletic skill and the desire for victory against corruption and brutality, Larry Fink has documented the boxing ring from 1989-1996. Located in Philadelphia, many of Fink's images are taken at the Blue Horizon Arena purported to be the largest and best venue by Sports Illustrated and Ring Magazine. However, it closed its doors in 2010 due to financial hardships. Image includes an African Amercan portrait identified as Silky Smooth; Signed, dated with title, AP on reverse
