20 x 20" FRAMED
This mixed media work joins others by the artist detailing a violent neighborhood tragedy; although the work(s) include gilded panels with decorative elements text is juxtaposed suggesting less than optimal circumstances. This includes the words "USUALLY," a "SHOT," while across the lower half the text reads "NEIGHBORHOOD" and in In the lower left corner is the drawn figure of a man pointing to the newspaper text, cut out in strips, applied to the surface and partially obscured by paint saying, in part: "...parking lot next to pier. It's usually a safe neighborhood...Newport Beach..." Unsigned.
