The Women Beyond Borders Art Collection includes over 900 self styled wooden boxes reflecting on a specific woman's self-identity using a variety of multi-media processes. The artist used wood sticks and dried leaves to represent a thatch-roofed cottage. Cottages are features of the Vietnamese countryside, and this one is meant to be representative of the cottage images we think of when we get home sick.
