The Women Beyond Borders Art Collection includes over 900 self styled wooden boxes reflecting on a specific woman's self-identity using a variety of multi-media processes. The box is tilted to the side being elevated by the wooden lid that rests underneath. Woven textiles of black and purple threads are draped inside the box spilling out, cushioning a small colLection of film rolls and dried rose buds. Burned pieces of paper with writing are adhered onto the textile in the interior of the box.
